Toowoomba weekly suburb report
There is a whole raft of information on a daily basis released for the Major cities and sub-regions, but each week I will release local suburb updates for the Toowoomba Region, based on CoreLogic, RPData and the latest census results.
Would love your feedback to see if this is of value to you if you are looking at buying or selling in the Toowoomba Region. Each week you will be able to see Auction clearance rates, weeks on the market and median house price movements.
This week is East Toowoomba and South Toowoomba
Both of these suburbs have been in the local media lately and it is interesting to see that, there definitely is evidence of movement in the market and we might certainly be in for exciting times in 2018.
As of September Median house prices were on the upward swing back to the high of April 2017, it is interesting to see pricing had little impact on the volume of sales. The volume of sales could be a reflection of supply and demand.
Sales by price
This might be why we are seeing local Real Estate Agents recognising the value buying in South Toowoomba. An area close to the CBD and in the Centenary Heights High School catchment area. A great family location and generally on larger parcels of land, with beautiful timber homes ripe for renovation “renovesting’ possibilities. This could be considered a buyers market.
